WHAT TO EXPECT

Workmanship

We’re passionate about handwoven textiles focused not only on design, but its functionality and quality. We always strive for as much consistency as humanly possible but, as each piece comes off the loom similar but never exactly the same, slight variations can be expected, especially in the overall sizing.

There are also a few things you might notice when you first receive your handwoven textile like doubling or overlapping of threads from when the yarn was replaced (because it’s ran out or the color of yarn needs to change) and maybe some creasing on the cloth (which happens the first time it’s washed and dried). The cloth will eventually relax after a few more washes and the creasing should disappear. These are not defects and do not affect the quality and functionality of the cloth.

Before an order ships, we make sure to inspect each item carefully. We do our best but sometimes can still miss something. Please make sure to inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us immediately if anything is wrong — keeping in mind all of the above — so we can make it right.

Care Instructions

For cotton and cotton linen blend handwoven textiles, simply machine wash cold or warm on regular cycle and hang dry or tumble dry low. No need for bleach or fabric softeners and warm iron only if you prefer.

For wool and silk blend handwoven textiles, hand wash gently in cold water separately, as colors may bleed. Do not soak. Squeeze, do not wring, to remove water or roll in a towel. Hang dry and iron with steam.

Colors + Screens

The way you see colors on your screen may differ slightly due to variations in screen settings as well as on which device you might be viewing our website. As best we can, we’ve made sure that the colors of our textiles are represented here as accurately as possible. Processing Times

  • For in stock items, your order will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours.

  • For out of stock items, your order will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours as soon as they become in stock.

  • For custom orders, please see below.

Please note that business days do not include weekends or holidays. Orders placed on Friday after 12pm EST or over the weekend will begin processing on the following business day.

Shipping + Delivery

  • We only currently ship within the continental US via USPS Priority Mail (tracked and insured). Once delivered to USPS and tracking shows they have your order, it is pretty much out of our hands. However, if there is an issue, we will help in any way we can to resolve it.

  • We’re not responsible for transit delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather conditions and holiday schedules.

Please note your package might be delayed due to COVID-19.

Returns + Refunds

  • Items may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery. We’re not able to offer refunds after 14 days. Email us at hello@studiomiraflora.com for a return shipping label. The return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund unless the return is initiated because of our mistake.

  • Custom orders and on rare occasion, sale items, are final sales and may not be returned or exchanged.

  • To obtain your refund, the returned item must be unused, in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging. An email confirming receipt of your return will be sent and your refund (minus the original shipping cost) will be credited to the original method of payment within 2-3 days. If you received the item as a gift, a gift card will be issued in the amount of the refund.

Shop Updates

Our textiles are woven in small batches and sometimes do sell out. The Shop is restocked every 3 months or so and around specific holidays. Shop updates are announced a few days before they go live via our Newsletter (sign-up) and Instagram feed (follow us).
